Nae BMW Oracle in the cup yet... Photo : ETNZ

A recent letter has been sent to BMW Oracle from all of the teams preparing to compete for the 33rd Americas Cup. This encourages the team, who represent the Golden Gate Sueing & Yachting Club, to drop their law suit against Alinghi. Maybe they could come and compete for the cup instead of dicking about with big multihulls (very impressive though…).

The latest news from todays AC meeting in Geneva is that there will be no crazy AC90 boats. Just a version 5.0 of the recent boats. Also there will be a one boat campaign to keep the costs down and encourage further entries. The event is expected to take place in 2010. Read the full story here…

More America’s Cup Court Pish! Might get some sailing done soon!

October 29, 2008

It looks like New Zeland has stepped one step closer to winning back the Big Jug that they miss-placed at some point which now seems a while ago now? Anyway whats happened is that they have dropped the law suit against them for something that probably they can still only remember what it was about, I know that I lost track of this a long while ago and thought that I would just wait till they started sailing again. So looks like the shit is now getting thinner (un-like me) anyway check it out on their site at www.alinghi.com
